Butte MT, Dylan Cook a former Montana Grizzly and Butte High Bulldog has landed a spot on the Pittsburgh Steelers 53 man roster.
As teams had to cut their rosters in the NFL today of upwards of 90 players to just the final 53 is quite impressive. Cook will be 1 of the 9 offensive line players.
Originally undrafted out of the University of Montana in Missoula, Cook played QB for a NAIA college, MSU Northern in Havre Montana.
Cook was signed in May by the Steelers after his first stint as a member of the 16 players who were on the Tampa Bay Bucs practice squad.
During his time at Montana, Cook started 23 games at right tackle for the Grizzlies, Dylan was also a two time Academic All-Big Sky honoree, he also helped move mountains to produce the Griz their first 1,000 yard rusher since 2014.
Dylan Cook joins Colt Anderson as another Mining City super stud to join the ranks of being a walk on at the U of M to suiting up on Sundays.
