Butte High’s new girls’ flag football team will hold open fields at 7 p.m. Aug. 2, Aug. 9 and Aug. 17 at Naranche Stadium.

Any girls entering eighth through 12^th grades who want to play or just want to see what the sport is all about are invited to attend.

A parents meeting will be held Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. in room 303 at Butte High School, and players are encouraged to attend a free camp in Missoula on Aug. 20. A bus will leave at 7:30 a.m. from Butte High.

The first day of practice is set for Aug. 22.
