Faupel named to Montana team

Natalee Faupel will play with the best of the best in Montana basketball.

The Butte High senior and future MSU-Northern Skylight was named to the Montana team of the annual Montana-Wyoming All-Star basketball series. The rosters for the series were announced today.

This year’s games will be played June 7 in Sheridan, Wyo., and June 8 at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.

Joining Faupel on the Montana roster will be Jayde LeFevre of Laurel, Amy Davis of Bozeman, Alycia Sims of Stevensville, Liz Harper of Missoula Sentinel, Kaye Bignell of Helena Capital, Jordyn Johnson of Fairfield, Baylee Watson of Townsend, Diondra Denton of Great Falls CMR and Martha Dembek of Winnett-Grass Range.

Faupel, a four-year contributor for the Bulldogs, averaged 13.6 points and 8 rebounds to help lead the Bulldogs to an 18-4 record this past season, earning Class AA All-State honors. She’s also an All-State performer in soccer and a key member of the Butte High track team.

The Montana boys roster includes Daine Muller of Billings Skyview, Andrew Campbell of Billings West, Tad Rose of Billings Senior, Daniel Meyer of Billings Central, Brett Thompson of Laurel, Ryan Edwards of Kalispell Glacier, Joey Marzion of Great Falls CMR, Kendall Denham of Malta, Casey McLean of Whitehall and Chad Kananen of Roy-Winifred.
