BOZEMAN — Soon-to-be Butte High senior Ella Prigge put up a solid showing this weekend at the Montana Women’s State Amateur Championship at the Riverside Country Club.
Prigge shot 83, 82 and 85 on the par-71 course to tie for 12th place at 250. She tied with Kenzie Walsh of Billings in the tournament that concluded Saturday.
Annika Danenhauer of Bozeman won the tournament at 221. She fired a final-round 72. Fellow Bozeman High grad Cora Rosanova placed second at 226.
Butte High graduate Emily Kelly, one of three Montana Tech players in the tournament, placed 24th at 264. That included a career tournament low 79 on Friday.
Tech’s Emily Garden placed 19th at 258, while Oredigger Tanna Campbell hit 263 for 22nd place.
Jo Smith of Missoula won the Senior title, and Susan Haskins of Bozeman won the Mid-Am title.
