MISSOULA — Butte High’s boys’ soccer team played its best game of the season Thursday.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, however, they came up just short, falling 4-3 in a Western AA game with Missoula Big Sky.
“It was fun for us to play in a close game, but we finished up a little short,” Bulldog coach Cody Carpenter said.
All three Butte High goals were unassisted. Isen Padbury found the back of the net two times, while Cole Ananzeh scored once.
Next up for the Bulldogs (0-5) is a trip to Helena Capital next Thursday.
