The return of the Dream Big Montana Experience will be chock full of big names this week in Butte.

The event, which is put on by the Colt Anderson Dream Big Foundation, is set for Thursday and Friday.

Colt Anderson, a former Butte High Bulldog and Montana Grizzly who played nine seasons in the NFL before becoming a special teams assistant coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, is only one of the big names.

The list includes Butte High graduate and Montana State quarterback Tommy Mellott. It includes Troy Andersen, Brock Coyle, Tim Hauck, Maggie Voisin, Robert Lester, Brick Patrick and Ryan Jensen. It will include the music of Butte’s Levi Blom and Tim Montana.

The event kicks off with the UpTop Skills Camp, which will run from 4 to 6 p.m. at Naranche Stadium. The camp is for boys and girls kindergarten through eighth grade. It is limited to 300 campers, and you must register ahead of time online. Click here to register.

The party continues form 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Park Street. That will include a Keith Sayers FMX show. Blom will play before Montana closes the night with a performance.

Friday begins with the Dream Big Family Fun Day at the Butte Civic Center. It will run from noon to 3 p.m. it will include food, games, contests, prizes and ice cream.

The Dream Big Cocktail Party and Auction will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Copper King Hotel & Convention Center.

This year marks the third Dream Big Montana Experience. It is the first since 2019.
