Dogs ready to show why they belong

The Bulldogs are heading into state with more than just a chip on their shoulder, all year they have heard the noise and that’s just something that comes with being a team in Butte there is always passion, and we love to see winning while everyone else loves to see us lose.

There really is no atmosphere like that of Butte for a State tournament, the air is electric, and you can almost feel the waves of all the legends that have come before us. Butte is set to face off with the Hawks of Bozeman tomorrow at 3:30 at the Civic Center.

The Hawks just came off a loss to Billings West in the Divisional Tournament and look to rebound and be even hungrier for a State Championship, but one thing stands in their way, The Butte High Bulldogs who finished 3rd in Divisionals and look to ruin Bozemans plans of a State Championship run in their own hometown.

Butte lost its first game against Capital last weekend and then absolutely steam rolled their next 3 games blowing their opponents out of the water and scoring over 70 points a game. Jace Stenson has really found his groove as of late, especially beyond the arc, Cameron Gunrnsey is also playing lights out and we all know what Freshman Hudson Luedtke is capable of on a nightly basis.

The bulldogs are peaking at the right time and playing their best basketball of the season. Let’s show our support and root on our hometown Dogs this weekend, if you like hoops there will be plenty of it this weekend to be played!
