Three Butte shooters won first place in the Elks South District Hoop Shoot competition in Dillon on Saturday.
Jace Graham won the 8-9 Boys competition, making 19 of 25 shots and then making 4 of 5 shots in a tiebreaker to edge Ronnie Estes of Anaconda.
Ellison Graham won the 12-13 Girls competition, making 21 of 25 shots.
Miles Choquette won the 12-13 Boys competition, making 20 of 25 shots.
Other Butte participants were Tenley Osborn, 2nd in the 10-11 Girls; Oakley Stajcar, 3rd in the 8-9 Girls; and Lane Lisac, 4th in the 10-11 Boys.8
All participants earned their spot by winning their local Lodge competition in Butte, Anaconda, Dillon, Deer Lodge, or Helena.
Last year, both Ellison Graham and Miles Choquette placed fourth in the national competition after winning the Lodge, District, State, and Regional Hoop Shoots. Graham won the National competition in 2020.
