Diggers picked second by Frontier volleyball coaches

WHITEFISH — Frontier Conference volleyball coaches picked Montana Tech to finish second behind the University of Providence, but by the narrowest of margins.

The Argonauts and Orediggers both picked up three first-place votes. With 23 points, though, Providence tops the poll with 23 points. Tech is second at 22, followed by Carroll College at 17, Rocky Mountain College at 14, Montana Western at 10, and MSU-Northern at 6.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth five points, a second place vote is worth four points, a third place vote is worth three points, a fourth place vote is worth two points and a fifth place vote is worth one point.
