Diggers fall to No. 21, Western at 15

Montana Tech fell nine spots in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, which was released Monday.

Montana Western made its first appearance of 2013 at No. 15. The Orediggers are ranked No. 21.

Carroll College moved up one spot to No. 3, while Rocky Mountain College moved up one spot to No. 18 after Saturday’s loss to the Saints. MSU-Northern received votes.

Morningside of Iowa remained at No. 1. Saint Francis of Indiana is No. 2. Cumberlands of Kentucky switched spots with Carroll despite still being unbeaten.

The Orediggers opened the season at No. 7 in the nation. They fell to No. 12 after the Sept. 14 loss to Carroll. Tech fell 29-22 to Western at home on Saturday.
