KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Montana Tech’s football team fell six spots to No. 17 in the latest NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, which was released today.
The dip comes two days after the Orediggers (6-2) fell 30-27 to Rocky Mountain College.
The top 10 teams remained the same as last week, with Southern Oregon sitting at No. 7. At 8-0, the Raiders have clinched at least a share of the Frontier Conference title.
Saint Francis (Indiana) is No. 1, followed by Baker (Kansas) and Reinhardt (Georgia).
Rocky Mountain College is the only other Frontier Conference team mentioned in the poll. The Battlin’ Bears received votes, but did not crack the Top 25.
