Diggers, Dawgs move up in NAIA football poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The week off was good for the Montana Tech and Montana Western football teams.

Despite not playing over the weekend, the Orediggers and Bulldogs both moved up one spot in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

Western is now ranked No. 15, while Teach is No. 22 heading into Saturday night’s clash between the Bulldogs and Orediggers in Butte.

Morningside (Iowa) still holds down the No. 1 spot, while Kansas Wesleyan is No. 2, and Marian (Indian) is No. 3.

The College of Idaho is still the top-ranked team from the Frontier Conference. The Coyotes moved up one spot to No. 8.
