Dawg spikers ink Idaho star

DILLON — University of Montana Western Head Volleyball Coach Lisa Griffiths announced Bailey Wilson of Burley, Idaho, has signed a Frontier Conference Letter of Intent to participate with the Bulldogs in fall 2013.

Wilson played volleyball for four years, basketball for three and golf for one at Declo High School while maintaining a place on the honor roll.

“Bailey is a great athlete and I’m excited to add her to the program,” Griffiths said. “She has good size and quickness and has experience playing every position across the front row, which definitely gives her a chance to earn playing time immediately.”

Wilson earned first-team All-Conference honors during her junior and senior seasons while leading her team to back-to-back finishes as District Champions. She was also named best offensive player, Magic Valley All-Star, Athlete of the Week and a four-year team captain.

She is the daughter of Blair and Keri Wilson and intends to major in physical therapy and/or graphic design.
