Dallas Cook ties school record in title-game loss

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Former Butte High quarterback Dallas Cook’s six-touchdown performance wasn’t enough for the North Dakota State College of Science Saturday in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference championship game.

The Wildcats fell 45-41 to Rochester despite Cook having a hand in six touchdowns to tie a school record. He threw five TD passes and ran for another.

NDSCS fell to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats will find out this week if they will be invited to a bowl game.

Cook, a 2014 Butte High graduate, led the Bulldogs to the Class AA State championship in 2012.
