Dallas Cook named MCAC top offensive player

Butte High graduate Dallas Cook was named the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after Saturday’s record-setting performance.

In his collegiate debut, Cook passed for 281 yards and five touchdowns to lead North Dakota State College of Science to a 61-12 win over Itasca Community College. Cook also ran for a touchdown. His six overall TDs is a school record.

The 2012 Montana Class AA Offensive MVP was one of three Wildcats to receive the league honor after the win.

Defensive back Casey Paskey was named the Defensive Player of the Week, while linebacker/kicker/punter  Jakob Racimo wss named the Special Teams Player of the Week.
