Criscuolo on second base for West Region title game

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — When Hawaii and Arizona battle for a trip to the Little League World Series Saturday night on ESPN, Butte’s Skyler Criscuolo will be on second base.

Criscuolo, a Butte High graduate and former Butte Miner, has been working as an umpire the West Region tournament since Sunday.

The game will be show live nationally starting at 7. The winner advances to the Little League World Series, which begins Thursday in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

    Skyler did a fantastic job at second base last night. He showed great poise on the field, as he did all weeklong during the tournament. The Little League programs of Montana District 2 are very fortunate to have Skyler in their program!
