Coyotes hold off Tech men

SALT LAKE CITY — Bryan Bock and Adam Greger combined to score 54 points Friday night at the Westminster Holiday Classic.

Bock posted a triple-double with 29 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, while Greger poured in 25 points. It wasn’t enough for the Orediggers, though, as the College of Idaho took advantage of 10 missed free throws in the second half to win 99-87.

Tayolr Pruett scored 20 points to lead the Coyotes, who saw every member of the starting five score in double figures.

Brandon Rydberg and Trent Thompson both scored 11 points for the Orediggers. Travis Peevey scored seven.

“We competed really well tonight,” Tech coach Patrick O’Herron said. “I was happy with our energy and effort.”

The Orediggers (6-4) open Frontier Conference play at Lewis-Clark State next Saturday.
