Butte High girls, BC boys have games postponed
Issues related to COVID-19 have cut into Thursday’s sports schedule.
Butte High’s girls’ basketball game with Missoula Big Sky scheduled for the Butte Civic Center has been postponed. So has Butte Central’s boys’ basketball game at Anaconda.
A press release by Butte Central said the COVID issue was in the Copperhead program. Butte High has not announced the postponement yet, but a school official confirmed with Butte Sports that the girls’ game has been called off.
Butte High’s boys’ game at Big Sky and Central’s girls’ game at Anaconda are still on as scheduled. Butte High’s boys’ varsity game is set for 7 p.m.
The BC-Anaconda girls’ game is set for 6 p.m. at Memorial Gym. The JV game starts at 5. The varsity game will air on KOPR (94.1 FM, kopr94.net or on the KOPR app.)
A make up date for the games have not been set. Butte Central, though, did announce a make up for its game with Livingston that was postponed because of bad weather last week. The Rangers will come to town for a 7:15 p.m. game on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
Montana Tech’s basketball games at MSU-Northern are still set to be played in Havre. The women’s game tips off at 5 p.m., and the men play at 7. Both games will be carried on KBOW (550 AM, 101.5 FM , kbow550.net or on the KBOW app).1 comment
