Corvallis’ Bradshaw to transfer to UM

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Former Corvallis basketball standout Riley Bradshaw says he is transferring from Utah State to Montana to play basketball.

The 6-foot-2 guard started the school year as a freshman at Utah State under coach Stew Morrill, which coached the Grizzlies from 1986-1991.

Morrill announced on Oct. 30 that Bradshaw had left the Aggie basketball program and would transfer at the end of the fall semester.

Bradshaw told the Missoulian on Wednesday he was transferring to Montana. NCAA rules prohibit coach Wayne Tinkle from commenting on a potential non-scholarship athlete, but Tinkle did offer Bradshaw a scholarship after his sophomore season in high school.

Bradshaw averaged 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds per game as a senior.
