Colt Anderson is staying in Indianapolis.
On Tuesday, the first day of the NFL free agency signing period, the former Butte High and University of Montana star re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts, according to reports.
Anderson confirmed the singing, saying the deal was for one year. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Anderson, a backup safety and special teams ace, played last season with the colts, and registered a team-high 15 special teams tackles last season.
The 2004 Butte High graduated began his career on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad after going undrafted in 2009. He joined the Philadelphia Eagles midway through the 2010 season, and he stayed there through 2013.
A perineal Pro Bowl candidate, Anderson served as a special teams captain for the Eagles during a playoff game in January 2011.
