INDIANAPOLIS — Former Butte High Bulldog Colt Anderson registered two tackles while playing safety for the Indianapolis Colts in a 23-17 preseason loss to New Orleans at Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night.
Anderson tackled New Orleans star tight end Jimmy Graham after a 38-yard reception in the first quarter. He stopped Derrick Strozier after a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Anderson, an All-American at the University of Montana, spent the past four seasons as a special teams ace and backup safety for the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
