Colt Anderson is a Buffalo Bill once again.
One day after the Bulls released the nine-year NFL veteran to sign quarterback Joe Webb, the team re-signed Anderson on Tuesday.
Anderson confirmed the signing to Butte Sports.
Anderson, 31, is a 2004 Butte High graduate who went from walk on to All-American at the University of Montana.
Since signing with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in April 2009, Anderson has served as a backup safety and special teams ace for the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Bills.
Anderson signed with Buffalo before the 2016 season. He spent most of the summer on the Physically Unable Ron Perform list with a foot injury.
The Bills open the season at home Sunday against the New York Jets.
