Just 23 seconds later, Nick Bradshaw iced the victory for the Cobras with an unassisted goal.

The Cobras and Quake skated to a scoreless tie for the better part of three periods. David Hanny put the home team on top 1:23 before the second intermission with an unassisted goal.

The goal came on Butte’s 57th shot of the game, as the Cobras were finally able to slip one past Quake goalie Edvin Falkenstrom.

Yellowstone’s Benjamin Angeli tied the game 3 minutes into the third. His power-play goal was assisted by Gabe Coppo and Gustov Ostman.

The Cobras outshot the Quake 80-40 in the victory. Netminder Dale Pfannenstein turned away 39 of those shots to get the victory in goal for the Cobras.

Butte and Yellowstone will meet again at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ice Center.
