Five different Butte players scored goals as the Cobras improved to 2-2-1 with the Saturday night victory.
David Hanny, Luke Schleusner, Cade Wessman, Fabian Vik and Nick Bradshaw scored in the victory. Zane Cluphf and Caelin Chinery each assisted on a pair of goals.
Caleb Cross registered 39 saves in goal for Butte.
Makhai Sparks, Nathan Gilleshammer and Nathan Awoyemi scored for Sheridan.
The Cobras will be back in Wyoming next Friday and Saturday to take on the Gillette Wild.
