The Frontier Conference volleyball preseason coaches’ poll was released Thursday, and Montana Tech was picked to tie for fourth place with the University of Great Falls.
Defending regular season champion Rocky Mountain College was picked to win the conference, taking in five of the seven first-place votes.
Carroll College was picked second, followed by Lewis-Clark State. The Saints and Warriors both received a first-place vote.
MSU-Northern was picked sixth, and Montana Western was picked seventh.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth six points, second place worth five points, third place worth four points, fourth place worth three points, fifth place worth two points and sixth place worth one point.
