Clay Fisher is Frontier Conference Player of the Week

WHITEFISH, Mont. – Montana Tech’s Clay Fisher was named the Frontier Conference/Erck Hotel Special Teams Player of the Week.

The Orediggers (5-2) defeated Southern Oregon 45-21 last weekend. Tech had a number of big plays in the game including on special teams.

Fisher, a 5-foot-8 redshirt sophomore wide receiver from Butte, Montana, had one of Tech’s big plays against the Raiders. The Orediggers blocked a Raider punt in the first quarter and Fisher scooped up the ball and ran it into the endzone.

Tech is on the road this weekend. The Orediggers travel to Billings for a rematch with Rocky Mountain on Saturday.
