Chapman’s 23 points leads Tech men to victory

LEWISTON, Idaho — Junior guard John Chapman hit seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points to lead the Montana Tech men’s basketball team to an 89-78 win over Yellowstone Christian Friday at the Clearwater River Casino & Lounge Tournament. Stats

Chapman was one of four Orediggers to reach double figures in the win. Lukas Vining poured in 19 points, while Flemming Okeke and Carson Dummer each scored 10 points. Okeke also pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.

Aleksandar Brankovic scored 26 points to lead Yellowstone Christian, which fell to 4-8. The Orediggers improved to 4-2.

Tech will play the College of Idaho on Saturday.
