Central boys baseball wallops Browning in final game of year

The Butte Central Maroons ended their first ever high school baseball season with a bang against Browning. They were firing on all cylinders and ended up absolutely skunking them 25-0 as this one ended in 3 innings due to the run rule.

Doherty and Berger led the way for the Maroons each going 3-4 at the plate, Tauscher went 2-4, Ossello went 1-3, Hassler finished 2-3 and pitched three stellar innings with 4 K’s. 8th grader Gunnar O’Brien went 1-1, senior Connor Porchervina went 1-1, and Button and Nagle each went 1-1 as well.

The Maroons didn’t make the state tournament unfortunately, they take the top two from each conference, and Belgrade and Butte High punched their tickets. Maroons are young and only going to get better, congratulations on being the first to play this sport at your high school.
