National signing day turned out to be a state holiday in Montana.
The Montana State Bobcats and Montana Grizzlies unveiled their recruiting classes of 2013 today, and that list included 19 players from the Treasure State.
The Bobcats led the way with 11 Montana players, including previously announced Bozeman transfer Tanner Roderick. The Grizzlies signed eight Montana players.
Each Montana team signed a product from Beaverhead County High School in Dillon. The Bobcats landed Ben Folsom, while the Grizzlies signed Austin Carver. Both Dillon Beavers are following in the footsteps of their brothers.
Bryce Carver just completed a stellar career with the Grizzlies, while Monte Folsom will join the Bobcats next season after a two-year mission for the Mormon church. Ben Folsom will also go on a two-year church mission, the school said.
Other Montana players signing with the Bobcats today include Gunner Brekke of Helena, Luke Daly of Billings, Bo Hughes of Missoula, Devin Jeffries of Kalispell, Dylan Mahoney of Great Falls, Quinn McQueary of Manhattan, Jacob Stanton of Billings, Trevan Timmer of Great Falls and Cody Vitt of Fairview.
The Grizzlies inked Nate Bradley of Billings, Mick Delaney of Bozeman, Nico Graham of Missoula, Jordan Harper of Great Falls, Josh Horner of Great Falls, Josh Janssen of Missoula and Tucker Schey of Malta.
Delaney is the grandson of Grizzly head coach Mick Delaney, a Butte native.
