Carroll’s Dean, Imhoff claim Frontier weekly honors

WHITEFISH — Carroll College’s Hannah Dean and Ryan Imhoff were named Frontier Conference Players of the Week, the league announced today.

Dean took home the women’s award, while Imhoff took the men’s.

Dean is a 6-foot-1 junior center from Gardiner. The 21st ranked Saints split their two games of a Washington road trip. Carroll lost to Whitman College 55-59 and beat Whitworth 78-56.

Dean averaged 12 points, 9.5 rebounds, three assists, 2.5 blocked shots and 1.5 steals. Dean was 11 of 18 from field (61 percent). Against Whitworth she scored 24 points and pulled down 19 rebounds in just 23 minutes of playing time.

Brianna King of Montana Western and Jenna Randich of the University of Providence were also nominated.

Imhoff is a 6-6 senior guard from Napa, California. No. 4 Carroll beat Salish Kootenai College 116-57 in a non-conference home game.

In just 26 minutes of playing time, Imhoff scored 17 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one blocked shot. Imhoff was 8 of 14 from the field.

Dom Robinson of Montana Tech, Adam Huse of MSU-Northern, Andre McCowan of Lewis-Clark State and Deontae Woodbridge of the University of Providence were also nominated.
