CASPER, Wyo. — That is why Zach Camp is an Exhibition League All-Star.

The Mining City ace spun a gem, striking out six, walking two and surrendering just two hits in eight shutout innings as the Tommyknockers beat the Casper Horseheads 8-0 Saturday night at Mike Lansing Field. (Boxscore)

Justin Greene and David Melfi had huge games to lead the Knockers’ offense. Green went 4 for 5 with a double and a pair of RBIs. Melfi, an All-Star catcher, went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs.

Nick Hansen hit two doubles, and Jake Mastillo hit a double and a single while driving in a pair of runs. Judah Wilbur also singled for the Butte club, which pounded seven hits and took four walks.

Brooks Browning and Landon Boyd singled for the Horseheads.

The Tommyknockers will go for the sweep of the Horseheads Sunday. The team opens a four-game home series against the Spearfish Sasquatch Monday at 3 Legends Stadium.
