When The Montana Standard eliminated the sports editor position in March, Bruce Sayler more than lost his job of 33 years. He also thought he lost his Heisman Trophy vote.
Sayler has been a voter for the prestigious award since 2000, and it was an honor and responsibility he took very similarly.
It’s also a responsibility he gets to continue while writing for buttesports.com
Tim Henning of the Heisman Trophy Selection Committee notified Sayler Tuesday that he gets to keep his vote. His media affiliation was changed from the newspaper to buttesports.com.
