LOS ANGELES — Butte’s Amie Opie will be representing her hometown, Montana and the United States today when she competes in the Special Olympics World Games.
Opie, 42, will race in the 10 kilometer cycling road race at 12:20 p.m. (Mountain Time). Opie is a long-time employee at the Butte Stokes (formerly Albertsons) at the deli counter.
