Butte track meet draws more than 275 athletes

More than 275 athletes from across Montana and Wyoming competed in the USATF Montana State Junior Olympic State Track & Field event Saturday at the Charlie Merrifield Track at Bulldog Memorial Stadium.

Of the competitors, 39 were from Butte.

All participants qualify for the Regional meet to be held in two weeks in Bozeman.  The USATF Regional meet will include athletes from Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho.
