Butte Miners standout Nate LeProwse was named to the Eastern AA All-Conference American Legion baseball team recently.

LeProwse, who just completed his final American Legion season, earned a spot on the team as a utility player. He was the lone Butte player to receive postseason recognition.

The honor comes after LeProwse hit .365 on the season. He hit nine doubles, one home run and drove in 17 runs in 43 games for the Miners.

LeProwse, who played third base, pitcher and catcher, threw out four would-be base stealers. He posted a .925 fielding percentage overall.

LeProwse is now a sophomore at Dawson Community College.
