Butte Men’s team wins 2023 ASA State Championship

This weekend the men’s E, D, C, and women’s State Tournament took place in Missoula MT. Teams from all over the State traveled near and far to do battle with one another.

Games started as early as 8 am Saturday morning and ran till Sunday afternoon to determine 2023 State Champions at the Fort Missoula Softball Complex where they hosted a great tournament in what is one of the nicest complexes in the state.

The women’s Division saw Steel ETC / Ninjas take home the first-place trophy after an undefeated weekend, followed in 2nd place by Base-ic-Pitches.

Men’s C saw The Mill out of Billings win yet another State C Championship, second place saw All The Smoke (ATS) out of Missoula as runner up.

The Butte Rats/ Copper Kings won the Men’s D division against a scrappy Heleana Hitmen team in a close battle where the Copper Kings trailed most of the way, winning by 1 run in extra innings. Hitmen out of Helena placed 2nd in the D division.

Men’s E saw the Tye Dyes take home first place and Gordy’s/ Pepsi take home second place.
