ANACONDA — The Butte Lady Irish eighth grade girls’ basketball team claimed the title Sunday at the 17th Annual Big Sky Hoops Santa Slammer.
The Butte girls beat the Missoula Lady Flight 23-21 in a hard-fought championship game to complete an undefeated weekend.
Members of the team are Mya Stenson, Tylar Clary, Payton Clary, Rachel VanBlaricom, Kodie Hoagland, Piper Joseph, Mollee Conlan and Brooke McGrath.
