Butte High will open the Western AA Divisional volleyball tournament against host Kalispell Glacier at 3 p.m. Thursday in Kalispell.
The Wolfpack swept the regular-season series with the Bulldogs, winning in five sets in both matches. Butte High (7-7 conference, 9-15 overall) is the No. 5 seed in the tournament. Glacier (9-5, 12-12) is the No. 4 seed. (Bracket).
The winner advances to a 3 p.m. Friday game against No. 1 Missoula Sentinel or No. 8 Missoula Hellgate. The loser will play at 11 a.m. Friday against the loser of the Sentinel-Hellgate match.
The top four teams from the eight-team tournament advance to the Class AA State tournament in Bozeman.
