Butte High head football coach Arie Grey released Butte High’s 2016 schedule to Butte Sports Tuesday.

The Bulldogs open the season with back-to-back road games. The season opener is Aug. 26 at Billings Skyview. The following week, Butte High heads the other direction to take on Missoula Sentinel in Missoula.

Butte High’s first game on the new artificial turf at Naranche Stadium is Sept. 9 against defending state champion Bozeman. The field at Naranche is currently under construction.

The Bulldogs will also play home games against Great Falls Russell (Sept. 23), Kalispell Flathead (Oct. 7), Helena High (Oct. 21) and Helena Capital (Oct. 28).

Other road trips include Billings Senior (Sept. 16), Billings West (Sept. 29) and Kalispell Glacier (Oct. 14).

The game at Billings West is on a Thursday.
