The second ever High School baseball season wrapped up this weekend in Missoula with the Bulldogs placing 4th after a loss to Columbia Falls in the Consolation Championship. They lost 16-2.

Florence edged the Hamilton Broncs to secure their first State Championship. They won 4-2.

Win or lose the program is cementing its name in the early history books of High School baseball making trips to the state dance both years of its existence. The Bulldogs finished 12-8 overall this season knocking of the defending state champs in the process.

The sky is high for the program and the future is bright, we wish all the seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors. We look forward to covering these same athletes as Legion baseball kicks off.

A big thanks to all that helped with covering this year especially Josie for sending us photos for road games and Coyt for getting his feet wet in sports writing. The spring time is one of the busiest so any help we can get is greatly appreciated so thank you all.
