Players from Butte won four of six divisions Tuesday as the Southwest Montana Junior Golf Tour stopped at the Butte Country Club for the Silver Bow Open.

The older two divisions played 15 holes because of construction of the Country Club. The younger groups played eight holes.

Yelenich shot a 40 over eight holes to tie Butte’s Jack Muhlstein for the top spot in the Jordan Spieth Division for boys 11-13. Yelenich won a one-hole sudden-death playoff for the victory.

Connor Kachmarik of Butte took third at 45.

Jacob Sawyer shot an 11-over-par 70 over to win the Scotty Scheffler Division for boys 16-17. He beat Anaconda’s Tanner Cromwell by one shot. Gavin Roesti of Butte was third at 72.

In the Nelly Korda Division for girls 16-17, Lean shot an 81 to beat fellow Butte player Taylor Sullivan by one shot.

Zachary Sullivan’s 76 won the Patrick Cantlay Division for boys 14-15. Butte’s Will McGree took second at 85, which was two better than Dillon’s Braxtyn Turney.

Maryah Lindsay of Clancy shot a 102 to win the Lexi Thompson Division for girls 14-15. She beat Butte’s Chelsi Lyons by four shots. Eryn Lindsay of Clancy took third at 112.

Dillon’s Tatum Nagle’s 45 won the Danielle Kang Division for girls 11-13. Gracie Godbout of Butte placed second at 54, and Kate DeShaw of Butte placed third at 56, which was one better than Evyn Smith of Melrose.

After taking next week off, the Tour will resume July 6 with the Anaconda Challenge at the Anaconda Country Club in Opportunity.
