Here are the results from the Maroon’s volleyball matches Thursday vs. Stevensville and Saturday’s match in Corvallis. Central will play their last regular season match next Tuesday vs. Dillon where 8 seniors will be recognized on Senior Night.
Next Thursday BC will head to Stevensville to play the 1st play-in game. The winner of that will play Corvallis next Saturday, to determine who advances to the Divisional Tournament in Polson. The top 3 teams automatically advance, so next week’s two play in games determine the 4th team to go.
Coach Hancock had this to say about her team afterwards, “Things are starting to come along for us, just need to piece the little things together better than we are. Getting stuck in certain rotations for 3-5 points hurts us. So, we need to concentrate in getting out of those, limiting our unforced errors, & controlling what we can control. Outside hitter Ella Moodry, & setter Mollie Drew have been having some great games for us, & as captains really stepping up to lead this team. Next week is big for us, as we play Dillon Tuesday, & then our Play-In game at
Stevensville Thursday. So, need to come ready to work hard, & mentally prepared”.
