Butte Central Volleyball opened up conference play this week in Hamilton. They lost in 3 games 12-25, 24-26, 10-25. Kate Johnston led the Maroons in Digs with (18) and (3) Aces. Arika Stajcar and Ella Moodry had (4) apiece for Butte Central. Kathryn Lalicker was next in line with (13) Digs and (5) assists.
“We played hard but got stuck in certain rotations. The key for us this year is working through our mistakes and developing that mental toughness to compete through adversity. We have a lot of new faces in the varsity line-up, and others stepping up to take on multiple roles. It’s all going to take some time to piece together, but we will get there.” Said Butte Central Head Coach Becky Hancock.
