BOZMAM — A handful of young Butte athletes competed in the Bozeman Track Club’s All-Comers meet Sunday at the Brick Breedan Fieldhouse.
Cutter Thatcher posted a pair of top-three performances. He jumped 19 feet, 1 ½ inches to place second in the long jump. He took third with a leap of 38-2 in the triple jump. Thatcher also ran to 12th place in the 200.
Fellow Butte Central athlete Lindsay McGree also had a solid day. She placed fifth in the long jump in 16-¾ and sixth in the triple jump in 31-4 ½. McGree ran to sixth in the 60-meter day.
McGree also completed at the Nike Boise Indoor and the Simplot Games in Pocatello. She jumped 16-4¾ for 10th place in Boise.
Butte’s Anton Veverka ran to fourth place in the 1-mile race, Hailey Nielson took fifth in the 1,600, Trinity Smelich placed seventh in the high jump, and Kieyrah Killoy competed int eh long jump, triple jump and 60.
