Bulldogs stay course, open season with comeback road win vs Billings West

The Butte High Bulldogs opened their 23-24 Campaign in wild come from behind fashion.

In  the first half alone the Dogs saw 4 turnovers in total, a blocked punt, and a turnover on downs that had the Bulldogs down 10 zip at the half.
Bo Demarias opened the scoring for the Bulldogs in the second half as he scored on a 3 yard scamper to pay dirt for Butte High.
After a pick 6 from Billings West, Bo Demarias then found Sam Sampson on a 48 yard strike for another Bulldog payday, they would also complete the 2 point conversion, cutting the lead to just 3 at 17-14 with just over 5 to go in the game.

Bulldog Quinn Cox not only forced but also recovered a fumble on the West 5 yard line which would then lead to a steam roll touchdown from Aidan Cuchine to put the Dogs up 21-17 and their first lead of the game.
Butte High then recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff allowing them to kill some clock. The next possession for the Golden Bears would be their last as Will Stepan made an incredible play and picked it on the goal line giving his squad the ball back with 59 seconds and escaping with the road victory to begin the year!
