Bulldogs stay at No. 2

Butte High’s football team remains ranked No. 2 in the Class AA in the latest Treasure State Media Poll, which was released today.

Butte High received three of the 26 first-place votes from media members from around the state. No. 1 Billings West received the other 23.

The defending state champion Golden Bears took in 120 points to remain firmly in the top spot. Butte High received 94 points. Helena Capital is ranked No. 3 at 81. Missoula Sentinel is fourth at 63, followed by Helena High at 14.

Butte High (3-0 overall, 1-0 Western AA) will head to Kalispell Glacier this week, while West will play host to Great Falls Russell.

Hamilton still holds down the top spot in the Class A. Billings Central is No. 2, followed by Frenchtown, Miles City and Libby.
