Bulldogs slam Big Sky JV

A grand slam by Madi Jonart highlighted Butte High’s 15-hit attack Tuesday, and the Bulldogs rolled to an 18-6 win over Missoula Big Sky in a junior varsity softball game at Stodden Park. (Boxscore)

Jonart also joined teammates Hailey Skeel and Brityn Stewart with doubles in the win that saw the Bulldogs score eight runs in the first and eight more in the second.

Stewart also singled, while Gracie Ferriter, Dacelyn Lafond, Natalie Lynch and Cami Cautzman each hit two singles.

Madisyn Swanson and Taylor Drakos joined the hit parade.

Kamber Leary pitched the distance, striking out four and walking two in the game that was called by the 10-run rule after five innings.
