GREAT FALLS — Carlie Haeffner pounded 10 kills and nine blocks Tuesday, as Butte High topped Great Falls Russell 25-17, 17-25, 25-16 and 26-24 in an Eastern AA battle at the CMR Fieldhouse.

Sammy McGree collected 15 digs for the Bulldogs, who improved to 2-3 in league action. Jessie Buckley served six aces, while MaKaul Ori dished out 14 assists.

Katie Smith’s 15 kills led the Rustlers.

Butte High is back in action Thursday when the Bulldogs play host to Dillon in a non-conference tilt at the Richardson Gym.
