KALISPELL — The Butte High volleyball team is going to State.

The Bulldogs swept Helena Capital 25-22, 25-22, 25-18 in a loser-out match at the Western AA Divisional tournament this morning. The win sends the Bulldogs to the noon third-place match against Kalispell Glacier.

The victory, which is Butte’s six in its last seven matches, also sends the Bulldogs to next week’s Class AA State tournament in Bozeman. The top four teams move on.

Mollee Conlan’s huge match paced the Bulldogs in the win. The senior registered 10 kill to go along with eight digs and seven blocks.

Ashley Olson continued her hot streak with six kills. Katie Keller set 14 assists in the win, and Jordyn Bolton collected 10 digs. Keller also grabbed nine digs, while Brooke McGrath joined Conlan with eight.

Joscelyn Cleveland joined Keller with three aces.

Olivia Quinn, Teagan Kennis, Kennadie McMahon and Laura Rosenleaf also contributed for the Bulldogs.
