Bulldogs hand Spartans first loss of the season

The Butte High basketball program had a great Saturday in the sports world as both varsity squads prevailed victorious. After a tough loss to Hellgate on Thursday Butte traveled to undefeated Missoula Sentinel looking to spoil that record and they did just that winning 57-56.

Behind great offense tonight and spreading the ball around Butte High saw 3 players score in double figures. Dylan Bache led the way for Butte with 13 points, followed by Hudson Luedtke with 12, and Russo Battermann had 10, Bo Demarais had 8, Tocher Lee had 5, Braylon Larson had 4 and Torre Tempel had 3 for Butte.

Missoula was led by Lincoln Rodgers with 22 points and Grady Walker had 16 for the Spartans. Butte will host Kalispell Glacier next week in another conference tilt in the Western AA. The win moves Butte High to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
